Products

Q: What is the difference between granite, quartz, and quartzite?
A:

  • Granite is a natural stone known for its durability and unique patterns. It is heat and scratch-resistant, making it ideal for kitchen countertops.

  • Quartz is an engineered stone made from natural quartz crystals combined with resin. It offers a wide range of colors and patterns, is non-porous, and requires minimal maintenance.

  • Quartzite is a natural stone that starts as sandstone and undergoes a transformation process involving heat and pressure. It is harder than granite and provides a beautiful, natural look.

Q: How do I choose the right material for my project?
A: Consider factors like aesthetics, durability, maintenance, and budget. Granite offers natural beauty and durability, quartz provides consistency and low maintenance, and quartzite combines natural beauty with extreme durability. Our team can help you select the best material for your needs.

Q: Do you offer custom fabrication?
A: Yes, we provide custom fabrication services to ensure your countertops fit perfectly in your space.

The Process

Q: What are the steps of the process to new countertops?

A:

Take measurements of your space

Use this formula: length x width / 144 = square feet.

The number 144 comes from the fact that 12 inches by 12 inches equals 144 square inches.

Maintenance

Q: How do I care for and maintain my granite countertops?

Q: Are quartz countertops maintenance-free?
A: Quartz countertops are low maintenance. Clean with a mild soap and water. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or chemicals. Unlike granite, quartz does not require sealing.
